Riazzi Asset Management, LLC was founded by John C. Riazzi, former CEO of Transamerica Investment Management in June of 2007.
- From 2001 through 2007, Riazzi successfully transitioned Transamerica from an insurance company’s in-house asset manager, to a viable participant in the institutional and retail third party money management industry.

John successfully navigated RAM, LLC from start-up, through the “Great Recession”, to present. John customizes individual separate portfolio solutions for institutional, non-profit, endowment and foundation clients, and high-net worth individuals. From June 2001 through May 2007, John was the CEO and Value Equity Chief Investment Officer at Transamerica Investment Management, LLC. The organization grew from <$9 billion in assets under management to more than $23 billion in assets during John’s tenure as CEO. John worked for Dean Investment Associates from March 1989 through May 2001. During that time, John served as President and Chief Investment Officer from Oct. 1998 through May 2001 after rising from entry level customer service, to investment consulting, to head of trading operations, to head of sales & marketing, to appointment to firm investment committee, to CIO and President. John graduated Cum Laude earning a Bachelor of Arts with Honors in Economics from Kenyon College in May 1985, and he has earned the right to use the Chartered Financial Analyst designation (CFA).

Elizabeth Schaefer, CIMA®
Director, Sales & Client Service
Prior to joining RAM in 2008, Elizabeth was one of four key members of the Managed Accounts Group at McDonald Investments. Her focus included investment consulting, building advisor and institutional relationships, asset allocation, investment policy and review. In 2003 she was asked to join one of the top financial advisory teams within UBS as a financial advisor. Elizabeth worked in institutional sales for Friedman Billings Ramsey (FBR), outside of Washington D.C., from 1999 through 2001 and she began her career at Nuveen Investments in Chicago in 1996. Elizabeth received a BA from Miami University, and obtained her CIMA certification from the University of Pennsylvania, Wharton School of Business in 2001.

Head of Trading and Operations
Prior to joining RAM in October of 2008, Denee was Assistant Trader of Separately Managed Account Trading at Transamerica Investment Management from March 2005 until September 2008.
Denee was Vice President of Operations at Westminster Financial Securities, Inc. from October 1999 to March 2005 prior to joining Transamerica. She started her career with J.C. Bradford in 1996, later purchased by what was then PaineWebber.
Denee received her BS from Wright State University and has 20 years of industry experience.
